The CinemaNow media player was among the first of its kind. It allowed users to legally download and watch movies and TV shows.

Back in 2006, CinemaNow was pioneering the concept of legal movie downloads. As a subsidiary of Lionsgate, it set the template for the purchase of digital movie purchases and rentals used by the industry to this day. I designed the CinemaNow Media Player to serve this new segment of media consumers.

After a number of acquisitions, CinemaNow has been phased out of the marketplace.
